F1, Sergio Perez positivo al Covid-19: non sarà presente al Silverstone

Il coronavirus ha colpito anche la Formula 1. Il pilota della Racing Point, Sergio Perez, è risultato positivo al Covid-19 dopo il tampone di controllo. Il pilota messicano già era stato messo in isolamento a seguito di un test che ha avuto un esito dubbio.

La FIA ha confermato la sua situazione fisica in una nota ufficiale: “Sergio sta bene fisicamente ed è di buon umore, ma continuerà con il periodo di auto-isolamento in ottemperanza alle linee guida delle autorità sanitarie”. Perez non sarà dunque presente al GP di Gran Bretagn nel Circuito di Silverstone. 

A sostituirlo probabilmente sarà Esteban Gutierrez. La FIA ha anche fatto sapere che è stato avviato il tracciamento delle persone che potrebbero essere state a contatto con Perez.
